Ace Combat Infinity. After the poor market performance of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, Bandai Namco allowed Project Aces to make a Japanese-model (token-based) free-to-play game and basically told them that unless that one did well enough, they wouldn't fund another Ace Combat game.

Luckily, it would appear the dedication of the fanbase has secured them funding to make another proper Ace Combat title.

The first of the series I played was Ace Combat 04. I fell madly in love with the storytelling and universe, and I jumped on Ace Combat 5 as soon as it came out, following that up with Ace Combat 2 and 3 when a friend got me those PS1 games. At this point I've played all the primary titles except for Zero and 6.

That would be fantastic, but I'm not sure if it'd be possible. Off Topic: Do you plan AC: Infinity and are you looking forward to 7? On topic...I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, PS4, PC and XBOX One at least share the same architecture, and there are other games that have done it. Should have been more clear...keep forgetting that Assassin's Creed is still a thing that is also abbreviated AC I too started with 4, went to 5, immediately went out to find Zero...I haven't played the old ones (although I have played the 3ds remake that was released under the title Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy)...but I've played 6, which was great other than them running out of good sounding names for things xD. Assault Horizon was an interesting break in the series, I don't hate it, but it wasn't amazing like the others. Infinity is a bit like they said "Let's mash all the old games into the Assault Horizon universe, remove DFM/ASM, and add in ALL THE PLANES!" Overall, Infinity is a great time-waster...and you can buy the campaign flat out instead of using the Fuel and Credit system to unlock the missions, and is all good fun (nothing quite beats the PvP events...shooting down High-Specs in my F-14) 5 and Zero remain my favorite of the series, on equal footing (which should tell you how good Zero is). I take it you are a fan of the X-02? I'm a huge fan of the ADF-01 oh, and sorry about derailing the thread Umm...on topic part of the post: Once again, Multi-platform is preferable for me...I don't want to deny the main groups into the game. However it is worth noting that Sony pulled an Microsoft and started charging for online gameplay...(even if PS+ is better than XBox Live, I'm not sure I could justify getting it just to play online...on top of the purchase of a console) Khanid Logi and Tanker, sometimes AV Heavy or Sniper. #PortDust514 ...Preferably to both PS4 and PC
